Members Handicaps at the start of the 2023 season
Competition format
As agreed by the committee, the competition format this year will be the Championship (Shield and Winners Trophy ) and competitions in two groups based on starting handicaps of 0-20 and 21+. This divides the membership for the friendly competition into two groups of about 10 or 11 members.
The table below sets out the competition groups. The two group names are Prestwick (0-20 handicap) and Turnberry (21+)
